IRONMANQK Burgas is a full-distance triathlon event set along the stunning Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. Athletes from around the world will gather in the historic city of Burgas on July 1, 2026, to test their limits across 226 kilometers of swimming, cycling, and running.
All participants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Athletes must complete the swim course within 2 hours and 20 minutes, the bike course within 8 hours and 10 minutes, and the full event within 17 hours from the start. Drafting on the bike course is strictly prohibited. Wetsuits are permitted if water temperature is below 24.5°C.
The swim takes place in the calm waters near the iconic Burgas Bridge, offering a spectacular start to the race. The bike course winds through the scenic Burgas region, passing coastal towns, rolling hills, and picturesque countryside before returning to the city. The run follows the beautiful Sea Garden promenade along Burgas Bay, treating athletes to panoramic views of the Black Sea as they push toward the finish line.
Registration opens January 15, 2026. Early-bird pricing is available until March 1. All athletes receive a race kit including timing chip, swim cap, bike stickers, and transition bags. Aid stations are located every 20 km on the bike course and every 2.5 km on the run. Medical support is available throughout the entire course.
